  Tournaments are up!

We have the final list of Tournaments for this year's VGR. We'll be posting the rules over the next few days, so stay tuned!

8/19/06 - The Gamer's Choice Tournament for 2006 will be Naruto Gekitou Ninja Taisen 4! Naruto barely beat out SSBM as this year's Gamer's Choice Tournament by 1 vote! C'mon, Smash fans - didn't you want it bad enough? Stay tuned for more news of upcoming Tournaments & rules!

7/15/16 - The Gamer's Choice Tournament voting is now open! Head to the NDK Forums to cast your vote for the game to be played at our first annual Gamer's Choice Tournament! You will need to join the forums to cast your vote. Get in there and tell BakuDan what you want to play!

6/25/06 - Yes, it's amazing but true - BakuDan has finally overcome his trials and tribulations in Real Life (TM), and is back updating with all the news that's fit for HTML on this year's Video Game Room. We've got more Tournaments forthcoming, including the brand new Gamer's Choice Tournament and our Retro Tournament. There's even more requests on the Requests page - getting closer and closer to a full-time Super Smash Bros Melee station at this year's NDK. We've still got new Tournament rules for you to look over, and even some game reviews to get you all worked up and composing an angry letter in response. Check 'em out!

1/17/06 - We're starting to put up game reviews from our intrepid VGR Staff members! They play all the best games out there, so you don't have to! We've also got a tentative list of Tournaments for 2006, and we're now accepting requests for games you want to play in this year's VGR. You can also find updates to the Tournament rules and Room Rules as well. Make sure you're ready!

12/24/05 - Website finally working again - D'oh! Real life rears its ugly head once again. If you check the date here, you'll notice that this auspicious day is the first time I've had a moment to fix the site - sorry about that! The costume pics are now up, and we're working on some new features for you guys - stay tuned!

9/21/05 - The Con is over! The Tournaments are won, the Hidden Bosses are defeated, and the mad hysteria is at an end, for this year anyway. You can see just a handful of the great Video Game Costumes that wandered the halls here, as well as the winners of the special prizes sponsored by the Video Game Room here.

We in the Video Game Room would like to thank all the attendees, Volunteers and Con Staff who made this year the smoothest NDK we've ever had. We're going to go into hiding until next January or so, so this page will not be updated much until then. See you next year, Space Cowboy!

9/5/05 - Tournament Rules are up! We finally finished hashing out the rules for this year's Tournaments, and they're all posted on the site for you to read. Start practicing now!

7/18/05 - Tournament List Finalized! After much wailing and gnashing of teeth, we've got our final list of Tournaments up for 2005! Most of them even have their rules already posted, although some are still under construction. And more importantly, we've already got our own special NDK twists on all of them. Are you ready to face the Hidden Bosses? Make with the clicking!

Game Requests: The people have spoken! You did it! I've gotten 20+ requests for games to be played this year at NDK, so I'm sticking to my word! There will be a permanent Super Smash Bros Melee station all weekend long at this year's NDK! So shall it be written, so shall it be done!
